The Center for Workplace Violence Prevention, with support from MIOSHA, is offering two free trainings on June 4th at the Library of Michigan in Lansing. Attend in person or join virtually.
AM Session (9 a.m.-12 p.m.): Learn how to identify, assess, and manage aggressive individuals in the workplace.
PM Session (1-4 p.m.): Improve your situational awareness and personal safety strategies to prevent and respond to threats.

Free Mental Health Training for MI Construction Workers
Available through September 2025, Wayne State University now offers free, MIOSHA-funded mental health awareness training for Michigan’s construction industry. Available online or in-person, this 2.5-hour course helps workers and employers recognize mental health challenges, reduce stigma, and build resilience. Certificate provided upon completion.
