Build Detroit showcases the talents and abilities of Detroit-area skilled trades trainees ages 16-24. Participants will be tasked with completing a project tailored to their trade, where they will be scored and receive prizes. During the event, contractors and businesses can share career opportunities, apprenticeship programs, and educational resources.
Attendees have the opportunity to observe candidates as they work through a 10-station skills course, as well as review resumes and conduct on-the-spot interviews.
