Subcontractor Safety Management without the Paperwork Nightmare
Join us May 4, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. for a one-hour webinar on reducing subcontractor risk through smarter, digitized safety processes. Taylor Thorn (Novara) and Kyle Duke (IMA Financial Group) will highlight common compliance gaps, OSHA implications for host employers, and best practices for pre-qualification, credential tracking, and building a scalable safety program. Taught by Adam Strong of the Michigan Fair Contracting Center, this Prevailing Wage Compliance workshop covers all aspects of the Federal Davis Bacon Act and the newly instituted State of Michigan Prevailing Wage Law, which took effect in February 2024. The session, which takes place on Thursday, May 7th, at CAMTEC, includes instruction on worker classification, fringe benefit calculations, overtime, and certified payroll requirements.

Construction Angels Now Accepting Scholarship Applications
Construction Angels, Inc. delivers immediate financial aid and grief counseling to children (19 and under) and spouses devastated by a construction worker's work-related fatality. The organization also provides scholarships to qualified applicants and priority awards to children of fallen workers. Scholarship applications are due July 3rd.
